IRD 1 July 2024 changes now in effect

There are several changes from 1 July.

These include the following.

• FamilyBoost has been passed into law, and  a decision support tool and authenticated calculator are available. 
• There’s a government contribution of 3% to KiwiSaver when a paid parental leave recipient contributes to their KiwiSaver.
• The brightline test now applies to properties sold within 2 years, and a decision support tool is available. 
• Offshore Gambling duty registration is available.
• Paid parental leave rates change from today.
